Squad Update

Friday 27/10/2017

Over the course of the last couple of weeks there have been a number of comings and goings at Keys Park and we wanted to bring you ‘up-to date’ with the latest squad news.

On the arrivals front, the last ten days has seen three new players appearing in Pitmen colours during the Integro League Cup and Birmingham Senior Cup fixtures.

We have been able to welcome former Aston Villa forward Alfie Crooks, most recently with AFC Telford United, midfielder James Fitzgibbon, formally of Gloucester City and forward Ross Haig – most recently with Barwell. All have played their part in helping us to progress in those competitions.

Manager Rob Smith is also currently working on trying to extend the loan spells of midfielder Reece King and forward Jordan Graham after both impressed during their stays so far at Keys Park.

The Pitmen this week saw the loss of Tyler Weir’s services after he made the switch back to Worcester City with him finding the travelling difficult going.

Meanwhile, after picking up an injury midway through his loan spell, winger Conor Levingston returned to Wolves while Callum Bullock also returned to Chorley following a similar loan spell. We thank all three for their efforts while with the football club.

As regards to players who were being looked at over the course of the summer and signed forms at the time, George Cater, Jake Webb and J’Cee Abraham have all had their registrations with the football club cancelled. Desean Martin and Ryan Nesbitt are both still registered but have been playing their football away from Keys Park.
