The draw for the quarter-finals of the Staffordshire Senior Cup has today been made with ourselves or Lichfield City being handed an away tie at either Newcastle Town or Sporting Khalsa.
We are due to face Lichfield here at Keys Park on Tuesday 12th December, with the game kicking off at the usual midweek time of 7.45pm.
Lichfield progressed into this round following a 4-1 victory over Brocton, whilst this will be our first game in this season’s competition.
The full draw is as follows:
Newcastle Town or Sporting Khalsa v Hednesford Town or Lichfield City
Leek Town or Eccleshall v Chasetown or Stoke City
Rocester or Stafford Rangers v Kidsgrive or Stafford Town or Port Vale
Walsall Wood or Wolverhampton Sporting v Walsall
Ties to be played week commencing Monday 5th February 2018.
Meanwhile we can also now confirm that midfielder Checkaine Steele has this week departed Keys Park. Steele joined the club at the start of September and we thank him for his efforts whilst here with the Pitmen.
