Squad Update

Friday 07/12/2018

It has been a busy 24 hours for Hednesford Town caretaker manager Francino Francis as he moved to bring in three new additions to his squad.

First to arrive was right-back Kieron Dawes on a one month loan deal from Birmingham City. Dawes, 19, is a first year pro at the Blues and has recently returned from a loan spell with Sutton Coldfield Town.

Another player joining us on loan is former Pitmen winger Joel Logan – who joins us on a month long deal from FC United of Manchester. Logan previously joined us in the summer of 2016, playing 18 times and scoring twice before departing to join Guiseley in the National League.

Francis has also moved to sign utility player Sufyan Zia on non-contract terms from Bilston Town FC. The 21-year-old is a strong central defender or central midfielder that Fran knows well.

All three players will be available for selection for the visit of Whitby Town to Keys Park tomorrow afternoon.

We can also confirm that defender Matt Curley has left the club after being released.
