Hednesford Town v Coalville Town (H)

Friday 10/01/2020

BetVictor Premier Central League action returns to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park as Coalville Town are the visitors. This is the third time we  have faced the Ravens this season and so far, with one win each, the honours are even. We fell to our first defeat of the season back in August at Coalville before a home win in the FA Trophy at the end of November.

Coalville Town are in sixth place with 39 points, one more than the Pitmen who have played a game less. Ahead of the match joint caretaker manager Danny Glover said “Today is a massive game as both teams are chasing a play-off place. It is a big month for us with another top side Peterborough Sports visiting on Tuesday night and it is important that we stick in and around the top end of the table during this period. Once again can I appeal to Pitmen supporters to get behind the lads like you always do, your support is always appreciated home and away.”

Kieran Morris who earlier this week opted to leave Keys Park to join Coalville Town will not be available for selection on Saturday. In other squad news Ben Bailey will serve a one match suspension for his red card against Tamworth on New Year’s Day while James Hurst continues to be the only injury doubt.

Kick-off is at 3.00pm.
