Opportunities Available at Hednesford Town FC

Monday 19/04/2021

Hi All,

We have a number of new opportunities for Volunteer Roles within the club available as we seek to grow before next season.

We appreciate all the support shown to date since the takeover, but we wish to grow this great club bigger than ever before…..but as we have always said we cannot do it without you, the fans.

We are creating a number of new roles as follows –

Role 1 – Club Statistician/s

This role will be reviewing and compiling results, and key stats and keeping a tab on general progress of all the teams under the umbrella of Hednesford Town FC.

Role 2 – Youth & Academy Officer/s

This role will assist the Academy & Youth managers with all elements of liaison from training facilities & training techniques to ensuring that all people have access to the wider offerings that will be delivered by Hednesford Town FC to all of the teams.  The aim of this role is to ensure we as a club have a consistent approach in our footballing brand, and to ensure each team learns from each other at all times to be the best they can.  They will also liaise with the first team to ensure that appearances are made by first team players and management to youth teams when and where needed, and also to liaise with the club for any facilities any team may require.

Role 3 – Media Assistant/s

Several opportunities sit within this element, therefore we seek a few people to assist.

The first role will be to assist in the music played on game days to ensure a smooth and seamless timing is achieved, with regards walkout music etc.

Also we seek additional people to help with awayday radio presenting.  This suits a confident person who ideally would have a knowledge of the Pitmen, and the world of football (but not essential).

Finally we seek a supporting press officer who can assist with detailed press releases, dealing with items such as player comings and goings and games to be played etc.

Role 4 – General Volunteers

As always, we like to have as many as possible helping us out around the ground.  General roles from assisting on game days, directing people, on turnstiles, pitch care or general maintenance.  We have a great group already, and very quickly you will notice the family feel and enjoyment we all get from spending time together discussing all football related matters.  Better than you normal coffee mornings for sure….

Role 5 – Commercial Manager

This role will be to assist in bringing in new Sponsors and to assist in ensuring that all existing Sponsors are being looked after as required.  Also offering the existing Sponsors additional benefits for free when and where they can be made available for Games & Events.

All the above roles at the start in particular are unpaid roles, however we do in return offer many benefits, including free access to all games & events around Keys Park, along with working alongside the club with early knowledge of goings on behind the scenes and assisting in delivering the news to the fans.

We also ask that all volunteers currently involved speak with the General Manager about claiming your free tickets to Party at The Park & also get in touch as you will be invited the private opening of the new entertainment venue at Centre Spot in Wolverhampton which is due towards the end of next month (all volunteers to speak with Kevin Fearn with regards venue details, dates and timings etc).

For anyone interested please email your details to sales@hednesfordtownfc.com or message us on facebook directly.

We will then be in contact to discuss the opportunities further.

We look forward to hearing from you.
