JOSHUA WEBB ARRIVES AT THE PRG STADIUM

Hednesford Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of versatile Defender Joshua Webb.

Halesowen based Webb, who is 25, began his career with Aston Villa through the youth system through to the U23’s where he turned pro for 5 years at Villa.  His impressive performances earned him a move to Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock.  He then moved over to midlands team Kidderminster Harriers and has also played for England U17 & U18 teams.

Webb is also a UEFA B coach, where he coaches at Aston Villa.

Pitmen Manager Keenen Meakin-Richards said “Webb adds to our growing strength and depth in the squad.  He is a great footballer who we have analysed in detail, and we felt he was a great fit for our team, to allow us to push and challenge for where we wish to develop the team to for now and the future.  Were excited to bring in a talent, such as Webb, as the squad depth grows, as were creating a great team mentality whilst were gearing up for the new Season”.

Webb Said “I’m excited to become a Pitman, and I’m looking forward to putting on the shirt.  I will give my all, every game for the fans.  Having seen the styles of play been developed under KMR & the management team, it was an opportunity that I could not miss out on.  There’s a belief building, there’s a vision, and there’s an end goal.  Who wouldn’t want to be part of that”.

Welcome to the Pitmen Josh!
