Friday 27/08/2021

Hednesford Town are delighted to announce the signing of 2 new faces at the PRG Stadium@Keys Park.

Jack Chambers

Former Northern Ireland youth international Jack Chambers, 21, has joined the Pitmen after leaving Championship side Luton Town at the end of last season. Central Midfielder Chambers began his career with Linfield in Northern Ireland before making the switch to join West Bromwich Albion in 2016 where he remained until 2020 before moving to Kenilworth Road. Hednesford boss Keenen Meakin-Richards said “Jack has has had interest from a number of football league clubs so we are delighted he has decided to join us, he is quick with his feet and a talented player who has a bright future ahead of him”. Jack has actually been part of the Pitmen squad for a brief period before having signed on a months loan from West Brom in 2019.

Callum King-Harmes

The second of our new boys to don a Pitmen shirt will be explosive 19 year old winger Callum King-Harmes who arrives from Bolton Wanderers. Birmingham born King-Harmes began his career with Wolves before making the move up north to join the Trotters making his league debut in 2019 against Wycombe Wanderers in League 1. He then moved to Northern Premier league side Bamber Bridge on loan last season before the pandemic cut short his time there. On Callum joining Keenen Meakin-Richards said “Callum is an exciting young player, he has played in the football league and has fantastic technical ability, we are really excited to bring him in”.

Both players have been registered and are eligible for selection for tomorrows home game against Biggleswade Town.

Welcome to the Pitmen Jack and Callum!
