Hednesford Town can today confirm that goalkeeper Jono Brown has agreed to join Midland league side Shifnal Town on a short term dual registration loan.

Brown, 24, arrived at the PRG Stadium@Keys Park earlier this season from local rivals Stafford Rangers and will now spend some time with Shifnal in order to keep his match fitness up as he challenges Oliver Bassey for the number 1 spot.

Manager Keenen Meakin-Richards added “Jono will be going out to Shifnal along with Sam Griffiths in order to get some game time, this method stands is well as it keeps players playing and match fit so that they can be involved when called upon”.
