Hednesford Town can today confirm that goalkeeper Oliver Basey’s loan period at the club has ended and he has returned to Birmingham City.
Basey, 18 arrived on loan in November and quickly established himself as first choice keeper with a string of excellent performances for the Pitmen, he was set to play against Rushall Olympic in the Boxing Day derby however an injury sustained to his hand kept him out of the game and with the expiration of his loan today he will return to Birmingham City to complete his rehabilitation.
Thanks to Oli for his hard work and fantastic performances whilst he was with us and thank you to Birmingham City for loaning him to the club.
We wish Oli all the best for the future.
