Hednesford Town can today confirm that defender Carter Lycett has departed the RACE Stadium after the management team made the decision to release the young full back from the squad.

Former England schoolboys defender full back Lycett is a product of the Hednesford Town Academy breaking through to the first team squad in the 2019/20 season as a regular on the subs bench before becoming the first choice left back in the later cancelled 2020/21 season then making 36 appearances during the 2021/22 southern premier central campaign.

Carter departs the club with the very best wishes for the future from everyone at the RACE Stadium.
