Hednesford Town can today confirm that Goalkeeper Aaron Clayton and defender Mason Birch have joined the club from Bromsgrove Sporting and Sporting Khalsa respectively.

Keeper Clayton, 19, arrived at the Victoria Ground in September 2021 having come through Birmingham City’s academy and will provide competition for the number 1 shirt with on loan keeper Tiernan Brooks and previously worked with current Hednesford goalkeeping coach Adam Marusiak at Bromsgrove.

Right back Birch arrives at the Pitmen having been around the non league scene appearing for the likes of Kidderminster , Alverchurch, Redditch United and most recently Sporting Khalsa with the 22 year old having began his career in the football league with Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers.
