Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that popular young defender Harvey Portman has agreed a return to the club from Bromsgrove Sporting subject to the registration process.

Portman,19, first arrived at the RACE Stadium just over 12 months ago from Stourbridge and quickly established himself as part of the first team squad as a left sided centre back. He then moved and began the season as the clubs first choice left back however he departed the club at the beginning of December to join Bromsgrove.

New manager Danny Glover wasted no time in bringing Harvey back to the club following his appointment and on his return Harvey said “ I’m really excited to back at Hednesford as I never wanted to leave in the first place. My relationship with The Owners, Terry and Deaks has always been brilliant and now with the new gaffa in I want to show him how much I can offer to the team and help this great club stay in this division , up the Pitmen”.

Harvey will be available for the Boxing Day clash with Rushall Olympic subject to FA clearance.
