Hednesford Town v Mickleover

Monday 13/02/2023

The games are coming thick and fast for Hednesford and on Tuesday they entertain Mickleover, hoping to get some points on the board following Saturday’s good performance against Coalville.

Mickleover are currently sat just outside the play off places in ninth place in the Southern Premier Central Division with 42 points from their 29 games, some eight points behind fifth placed Coalville who are in the final play off spot having played five games less than Mickleover.

Mickleover’s away form this season sees them record three wins on the road with two draws and eight defeats at Tamworth (1-3), St Ives (0-2), Nuneaton (2-4), Hitchin (1-4), Coalville (1-4), Redditch (1-2), Needham Market (0-2) and Leiston (1-3) giving them an away record of:

P 13 W 3 D 2 L 8 F 21 A 32 PTS 11

We travelled to the Don Amott Arena back on August 13th 2022 and came home with a well earned point from a 1-1 draw thanks to a second half equaliser from Leroy Lita. Of the fifteen players in the Pitmen squad for that game just three remain at the club today so we will see a much changed starting X1 on Tuesday night.

Kick off on Tuesday 14th February will be the normal midweek time of 7.45pm with gates and bars open at 6pm and admission charges are £12 adult, £9 concessions and 16/17 year olds, £5  U16s if accompanied by a supervising adult with a family ticket available for £15 (1 adult and 1 child). U5s are free, again if accompanied by a supervising adult.
