Royston Town v Hednesford Town

On Saturday Hednesford Town will look to extend their three-game unbeaten run when they take
the 114 mile journey to Hertfordshire where they will play Royston Town.
Royston sit comfortably in 10th place in the table with 44 points from their 32 games, 16 points adrift
of the final play-off place but 13 points above the relegation zone. The Crows have a very impressive
home record of nine wins, five draws and just two defeats against Ilkeston (1-2) and Barwell (2-4),
scoring 30 goals and conceding 21 in their 16 games. Top scorer is Matt Bateman with 12 goals.
When the clubs met earlier in the season on October 22 nd at Keys Park, the game ended in a 3-3
draw. Despite leading 2-0 and 3-1 with goals from Ben Bailey (12), Joe Cuff (32) and Chris Clements
(49), Hednesford were forced to settle for a point after being pegged back by Adam Murray (47) and
a late double from Jarid Robson (73,86). The crowd was 490.

Royston strengthened their squad this week with the loan signing of midfielder George Hoddle from
League One side Cambridge United following a previous loan spell at St Neots.
This Pitching In Southern League Premier Central League fixture will kick off at 3pm. Tickets can be
purchased online via the Royston Town website for £11 adults, £7 concessions and £3 under 16s
where a digital matchday programme can also be downloaded for free. Online ticket sales close at
1pm on the day of the game and after that will only be available at the turnstiles but will cost £1
extra.

Royston play at Garden Walk, Royston, Hertfordshire SG8 7HP which has been their home since
1932. There is very limited parking so supporters are advised to use the main Town Hall car park
which is just a three-minute walk away.
