Hednesford Town are pleased to announce the signing of Wembanvuanda Star Mayemba.

21 year old Congo born Striker Star has been with the club on trial throughout the summer and has impressed with 2 goals against Stourport Swifts as well as a goal against Nuneaton in his 4 pre season appearances for the Pitmen having previously played for Midland League AFC Solihull and National league side Oxford City.

Manager Danny Glover said “Star has been superb pre season, his first game against Stourport he showed immediately what he can do as he is strong, athletic and he absolutely loves scoring goals. I am really excited he has joined us and look forward to working with him this season”.
