After a recent formal approach from Atherton Collieries FC and discussions with team management, midfielder Ahmed Ali, who joined the Pitmen in late December from Nantwich Town FC, has decided to leave Keys Park.

The Somali International player will be reunited with his brother, Mo Ali, who also moved to Atherton Collieries from Nantwich a couple of months ago.

Head Coach, Paul Moore, said ‘I would just like to wish Ahmed all the best as he has been great to work with over the short period that I have been here, I am sure he will do well at his new club’.
