Hednesford Town announce new Operations Manager

Wednesday 17/04/2024

Hednesford Town are delighted to announce the appointment of Jack Bevan as the new Operations Manager for the club.

It is with regret that Terry Brumpton, who has been a long term stalwart for the club, is stepping away from the club due to the full time requirements around the role and his commitments on a personal level.
Terry will still be involved in certain non match day events and will sure to be around to watch the Pitmen move into an exciting new era.

Terry had to say the following ‘ The club wanted to go down a full time route and I couldn’t commit to that because of my business. I think this season has shown in the past few months that there is very much call for a Commercial department at HTFC and I am delighted with the response I have had from the local business community and the locals to the events that we have put on. I do feel that the future is really bright for the club and wish Craig and Amanda the very best and also to Jack in his new role at the club.’

Jack , or JB to many of you, may be familiar to a lot of you as an avid home and away supporter and is extremely excited to start his new role here at Keys Park.

Amongst other roles including finance and education, Jack boasts extensive experience of working within Professional football in a commercial capacity at Wolverhampton Wanderers previously and most recently in Quality Assurance and Project management in Local Authority government.

The role itself will cover the commercial activities of the club including match day hospitality, sponsorship and advertising , ticketing and a new dedicated fan welfare department designed to bring the supporters to the heart of the club and provide a voice for our fantastic fanbase.
Jack added ‘ I am thrilled to be joining Hednesford Town and working alongside Craig, Amanda and the team at the start of a new dawn for this great club. I would like to thank Terry for everything he has done for the club and I look forward to working with him closely in the future. There are fantastic plans in place for this magnificent part of our community and I am both humbled and privileged to be given the opportunity to be a part of this journey.’

Terry will be working with the club until the end of the season and we thank him for his time, efforts and dedication to the club over the years gone by.

Jack will initially be working on a part time consultancy based role until his current notice period is complete to help with a smooth transition into the new dawn and will take up the full time role on the 8th July 2024.

Further details around the exciting initiative’s in place will be revealed in the coming months.

Welcome Jack
