Tilt signs on for Pitmen

Wednesday 03/06/2015

We are now in a position to welcome our latest signing with 24-year-old defender Curtis Tilt having agreed to join Rob Smith’s summer revolution at Keys Park.

The left-sided centre-half had an impressive campaign last time around, being voted Halesowen Town’s Supporters’ Player of the Year and joint Players’ Player of the Year during the 2014/15 campaign.

Last season also saw the defender score a memorable goal against ‘The Yeltz’s’ local rivals Stourbridge, with it going viral online. The goal can be seen by clicking here: Curtis Tilt goal.

Speaking about the signing, Smith had this to say –

“Curtis has had a great season at Halesowen, and his signature has been well sought after.

“He is a strong, athletic left-sided centre-half, and I am really pleased that he has chosen Hednesford Town as his next career move.

“I am certain he will be a top player for us, he has all of the attributes required for this league, and I look forward to him joining the new fresh squad.”

This evening (Wednesday 3 June) will see Keys Park open to supporters as work begins on sprucing up the ground ahead of the start of pre-season in just over a month’s time.
