Rob Smith’s team play their second of four games in a week when they take on AFC Wulfrunians this evening.
AFC Wulfs, who are managed by former Hednesford Town player Steve Palmer, play at the same level as last weekend’s opponents Walsall Wood, so will no doubt prove another test for Smith’s side.
The manager is set to be able to call upon all of the players from Saturday, apart from striker Luke Benbow who was forced off with an injury at half-time.
The squad will also be boosted by the availability of new signings Jon Adams and Tom James as well as experienced duo Andy Todd and Marvin Robinson.
Kicking off at 7.45pm the Pitmen will be looking for a similar result to that of the previous visits as we look to continue our build-up to the start of the Vanarama National League North campaign.
