Hednesford Town prepare to hit the road on Saturday as we make the relatively short journey down the A5 to take on Barwell.
This will only be the third ever game between the two sides with the Leicestershire based side having arrived at this level last season. The previous two fixtures have seen the Pitmen fail to pick up the three points with a 2-0 defeat on the road followed up by a score draw at Keys Park.
After suffering a defeat at home in midweek we are now hoping to go on another unbeaten run from tomorrow as we look to climb back up the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League table.
Our hosts on Saturday have experienced a similar campaign to ourselves so far, with them also gaining 25 points, albeit they sit two places higher than us due to having a much better goal difference.
Pitmen manager Rob Smith will be asking his side to bounce back at the weekend as we go in search of three points on the road.
The game kicks off at the usual time of 3pm and once again, ‘thank-you’ to all the supporters who will be making the journey down the A5 to give their backing to the side.
