(Elliott 24)
The Pitmen fielded a much changed side to the team that beat Leicester City less than 24 hours earlier, with only Daniel Platt starting both games.
Tom Elliott scored the only goal of the game in the 24th minute with a drive from outside the visitor’s area. Osebi Abadaki and Ollie Waddison had opportunities to add to the scoreline, before numerous substitutions by both sides disrupted the game. Darlaston came close to a late equaliser but with some last ditch defending Hednesford kept their lead intact to claim a second win of the weekend.
