Fitness Boost For Town Players And Staff

Tuesday 17/12/2013

Hednesford Town Football Club and Nuffield Heath Fitness and Wellbeing Centre Cannock are pleased to announce that the two parties are now working together in partnership, to help spread the word of not only the Football Club but also the local fitness centre.

After being approached some time ago about a potential link-up, both Hednesford Town and Nuffield Health were keen to implement the partnership which sees the Football Club’s players and staff being able to use the facilities on offer at the Cannock site free of charge. This has been even more important in 2013 following The Pitmen’s promotion to the Conference North, which sees them come up against some more experienced sides at the Step Two level of non-league football. In return, Nuffield have been given two advertising boards around the edge of the pitch at Keys Park and also an advertisement in every home programme for the 2013/14 season.

Scott Smith, from Hednesford Town, said

“I feel that this kind of link-up is of great use to both parties. Not only do we get the benefit of being able to use the gymnasium, swimming pool and fitness rooms, but Nuffield are also being advertised to our supporters as the best place to keep fit in the Cannock area. We look forward to the relationship continuing in the coming years.”

The link-up between the two parties has been noticed by members of Nuffield Health with many commenting how good it is to see the local football club’s players using the facilities over the course of the last few weeks.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Emma Hassall, said

“Nuffield Cannock are proud to have this partnership with Hednesford Town FC. It’s a pleasure to have the players use our facilities and we’re glad that we can help them stay in shape.”
