Maye Departs Keys Park

Monday 12/12/2016

Hednesford Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder Simeon Maye has today departed the football club.

This comes after discussions between the player and manager Paul Casey over the course of the weekend.

Maye will now link up with Boldmere St Michaels, whom he played and scored for on Saturday.

Casey said: “Following a conversation with Simeon it was decided by both parties that it would be best for him to leave the football club.

“Simeon has been one of the players who has been affected most by the departure of previous manager Liam McDonald from the club. This decision now gives him a chance to play for a team where he began his career and get him playing football on a more regular basis.

“When Simeon gets back to playing his best football the door will always be open for him to return to Keys Park.”

Everyone at Keys Park would like to thank Simeon for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.
