In what has turned out to be a busy day for Hednesford Town Football Club we can now confirm the signing of defender Jimmy Mutton.

The centre-half returns to the club for a second spell after previously signing in May 2016 before leaving at the start of 2017.

During that time he proved to a popular player with supporters due to his work effort and defensive capabilities on the pitch.

Manager Neil Tooth was delighted to be able to sign the defender; “Getting Jimmy Mutton back to the football club is brilliant news as he is a fantastic defender and he will slot straight back into the squad that we are building.”

The Pitmen will announce more new signings on Monday.
