Match Preview: Boston United (H)

Saturday 29/07/2017

Hednesford Town prepare to host their second National League North side in the space of a week as today we welcome Boston United to Keys Park.

After suffering a narrow defeat to Tamworth on Tuesday evening the Pitmen will be looking to put in another good performance this afternoon.

Following the signing of two more new faces yesterday, manager Neil Tooth will once again be looking to see his squad tested as we prepare for our season opener in two weeks time.

Tooth said;

“Boston will be our toughest test so far with them starting their season next week. I’ll be looking to see how we stand up to that.

“I’ve been impressed with a lot of things so far but now I’m looking for players to be at it for 75-90 minutes as we step up our own preparations for the season opener in two weeks.”

The game kicks off at 3pm and Strikers Bar will be open to both sets of supporters before and after the game.
