Manager Rob Smith has today been able to bolster his Hednesford Town squad with the arrival of left-sided player Sam Grimshaw.
The 24-year-old, who is comfortable at either left-back or on the left-wing arrives at Keys Park from Leek Town.
Grimshaw started his career with Manchester City before linking up with Altrincham, Radcliffe Borough and Glossop North End – with whom he caught the eye enough to be offered the chance to train with Manchester United in the summer of 2015.
Moves to Curzon Ashton and Stockport County followed before he linked up with Leek in the summer of 2016.
Grimshaw has today signed Northern Premier League forms enabling him to be available for the visit of Gainsborough Trinity to Keys Park on Saturday.
