Hednesford Town Football Club have today bolstered their squad with the signing of midfielder Jud Ellis on a one month loan from AFC Telford United. The management team have moved to bolster their squad with ongoing injuries in that area.

Ellis started his youth career at Shrewsbury Town before joining Kidderminster Harriers at the age of 16 to undertake a two year education programme.

Jud also had spells at Stafford Rangers and Ellesmere Rangers before making the step up to Market Drayton Town. After impressing over a number of seasons Telford made their move for Ellis last summer.

The 24-year-old will be eligible for Saturday’s trip to Stalybridge Celtic when the Pitmen next return to action.

The club can also confirm that Dan Cockerline has now returned to his parent club Southport at the end of his loan period. Everyone at the football club would like to thank Dan for his efforts while with the Pitmen.
