Gary Hayward adds four more to the squad.

After a busy night at Keys Park, we are happy to announce the arrival of four more players as Gary Hayward continues to build a strong squad for next year.

Arriving from Darlington FC is midfield dynamo Tom Elliott. Last season Tom played 41 games as the Quakers finished 16th in the National League North, he has previously represented Nuneaton Borough and Worksop Town.

Highly rated centre back Kieran Morris has joined from Halesowen Town. Kieran began his career at Stourbridge before making a move into the football league with Brentford FC. Kieran is an experienced player, previously representing Maidenhead United, Worcester City, Leamington and Stafford Rangers where he won the Manager’s Player of the Year Award in 2017.

From last year’s squad we are pleased to retain the services of versatile defender Charlie Gatter. Charlie, who can play in either defence or midfield, is approaching 50 appearances for the Pitmen after joining the club from Gainsborough Trinity during the 2017/18 season. Charlie’s looping goal against Stafford Rangers at Keys Park on New Year’s Day 2018 proved to be one of that season’s highlights.

Also returning to Keys Park is Osebi Abadaki. A pacey winger Ossie made a handful of appearances for the Pitmen last year before ending the season with Witton Albion. A former Blackburn Rovers trainee Ossie has also represented Hyde United, Shaw Lane, Salford City, Stalybridge Celtic, Ashton United and Stafford Rangers.

Everyone at Hednesford Town FC would like to offer a warm welcome to Tom, Kieran, Charlie and Ossie and wish them a successful time at Keys Park.
