Hednesford Town v Boston United (H)

Friday 18/10/2019

The Emirates FA Cup returns to The PRG Stadium at Keys Park as Hednesford Town take on National League North outfit Boston United in the Fourth Round Qualifying stage of the competition.

The winners of the tie receive £18,750 and will go through to the first round draw which will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 7.10pm on Monday 21 October. The draw will be conducted by Karen Carney and Jermaine Beckford and will take place at the home ground of either Royston Town or Maldon & Tiptree, depending on which side is victorious on Saturday afternoon. The 32 non-League clubs that progress from this weekend’s fourth round qualifying ties will be joined by 47 clubs from Leagues One and Two.

Ahead of the game Pitmen manager Gary Hayward said “Boston are going well in the National League North and I know Craig Elliott will want to win this as much as I do so it should be a great game. This is what the FA Cup is all about and I was as happy with the draw as I was with Blyth Spartans in the last round. Both of them play at a level where we want to be next year, so it is a good test of how far we have come over the last few months”.

The Pilgrims are in tenth place in the National League North, following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Darlington last weekend. The Pitmen will be looking to get back to winning ways after the midweek defeat at Bromsgrove Sporting.

Sky Sports will be showing in the bar before and after the game;

12:30 Blackburn Rovers V Huddersfield Town

5.30 Crystal Palace V Manchester City

Kick off is at the usual Saturday time of 3pm.
