Stourbridge are Saturday’s visitors to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park as Hednesford Town continue their BetVictor Premier League Central campaign. After two successive defeats on their own turf, the Pitmen will be looking to get their home form back on track, after taking seven points in three games on their travels.
On Tuesday’s draw at AFC Rushden and Diamonds, joint caretaker manager Danny Glover said; “We would have taken a point before the game considering the form they have been in over the last ten games. However, when their player was sent off early on, the win was there for the taking. We put in a lacklustre performance and should have done much better.”
The Glassboys have won their last three games and sit two places behind the ninth-placed Pitmen. With both clubs having games in hand over many of the teams above and the chance to close the gap on other play-off contenders; the encounter is certain to be fiercely contested. When the sides met at the War Memorial Stadium back in August, the Pitmen ran out 3-0 winners, with first half goals from Kieran Wells, Danny Glover and Osebi Abadaki.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
