Preview; Royston Town v Hednesford Town

Friday 23/10/2020

The Pitmen kick off a busy week by travelling to Hertfordshire to take on Royston Town in the Pitching In Southern Premier Central League. The Crows have endured an unusual start to the season and remain winless in the league, although they have drawn five of their six games and are a point and place above the Pitmen in the early table. Brandon Adams is their leading scoring netting his fourth of the season last time out in the 1-1 draw at Tamworth.

Ahead of the game Pitmen interim manager Keenen Meakin-Richards commented; “Anthony Dwyer has come in for us, a great signing for the club who was Stourbridge’s leading goal scorer last season and will add some firepower to us. The only injury concern is Andy (Wycherley) who is still a few games away from fitness. We are raring and ready to go to make sure we put last week’s performance right and make sure we play with a good tempo and get a result tomorrow.”
