Hednesford Town are pleased to announce that 2 of our young Academy players have now been promoted to the first team squad. Numair Rashad and Romehl Seraton are both in their first year with our Academy, however Keenan Meakin-Richards has seen enough from both young men to promote them to the first team.

Rashad, 16, plays as either a number 10 or a wide man and is described by Keenan as a very tricky player who can open up defences and is capable of getting goals.

Seraton, also 16, plays as a defensive midfielder and Keenan describes him as a player who breaks up play, very aggressive in the challenge with a fantastic engine and a good passing range.

Congratulations to both Numair and Romehl for breaking into the first team squad and we look forward to seeing your progress.

Both players are eligible for tomorrow’s trip to AFC Rushden and Diamonds.
