The waiting is nearly over as the Pitmen’s Pitching-In Premier League Central campaign kicks off at Keys Park on Saturday against a strong Needham Market side.

Ahead of the game Hednesford Town manager Keenen Meakin-Richards said; “This will be a tough test against a team who were challenging for promotion last year before the league was abandoned. However, we are not in the league just to survive or make up the numbers, we have the ambition to get to the next stage and that is the mentality that we should always have. I hope to see a big crowd at Keys Park on Saturday to get behind the lads as we aim for a winning start.”

Saturday 14th August, gates open at 1pm, club shop, food and drink outlets open prior to 3pm kick off.
