ARMITAGE JOINS PITMEN

Hednesford Town are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Armitage from fellow Southern Premier Central side Nuneaton Borough.

18 year old full back Armitage began his career with league 1 Burton Albion before spending the start of the ill fated 2020-21 season on loan at Tamworth. He then moved to Nuneaton for the start of this season and has been a stand out performer for the Boro since his arrival.

Manager Keenen Meakin-Richards said “ we tried to get Tom earlier in the season but couldn’t get it over the line, we were delighted when he wanted to come here as he is a player we have been keen on for 4 months. Thanks to Nuneaton as well as they could have been awkward in the deal with us previously putting 7 days in so thanks to Jimmy and Hinksy”.

Tom is available for this weekends game at home to Leiston.
