The club are pleased to announce that the highly rated and experienced goalkeeper, Lewis Gwilliams, has elected to join the Pitmen after a short but highly productive spell at promoted Belper Town FC.
Lewis only joined Belper in January but his performances helped them to make the play-offs and to earn promotion. The 30 year old stopper was offered an excellent deal to stay at Belper but was happy to reduce his travel commitments by moving to Keys Park and play in the Southern League, Central Premier Division for Keenen Meakin-Richards’ exciting young team.
The 6ft 2″ Gwilliams is a commanding figure who had previously played at Alvechurch, Rugby Town, Worcester City and Sutton Coldfield Town before his spell at Belper Town
We would all like to welcome Lewis to Keys Park for the forthcoming season.
