After a formal approach to Walsall Wood FC for one of his former players, Harry Harris has brought in 21 year old speedy winger, Jai Verma, to bolster the Pitmen squad.

Jai who was a product of Stoke City FC Academy was a prominent part of Walsall Wood’s successful promotion season and scored one of the goals when Walsall Wood beat us at Keys Park in the FA Trophy, earlier this season.

Harry Harris wrote “I’m over the moon to get Jai to Hednesford Town. The day I joined the club he said he wanted to come across and I’m delighted that he has. He’s a player that will excite the fans and he will improve us. Jai turned down a host of clubs to join us and was offered a big deal to stay at Walsall Wood but he’s a loyal lad who wants to play for a massive club like ours.”
