Hednesford Town can today confirm that they have parted company with Paul Moore.
Paul was appointed in late February to help the club in the ambition of survival in the NPL West. It was an extremely tough role to come into with a tough run of games and the points total to make up. Whilst we saw a positive change in performances early on in Pauls tenure the target wasn’t reached. Injuries and bad luck certainly played its part and everything considered it wasn’t an easy choice.
With the season being over, the decision to not renew Paul’s contract was taken after a footballing review by Senior Management with new beginnings and moving forward towards a positive and bright future the key focus now for everyone at Keys Park. Ronnie Green and Seydou Bamba, who formed part of the coaching team, will also be leaving the club. Everyone at Hednesford Town would like to thank Paul , Ronnie and Seydou for their hard work and dedication whilst here at the club and we wish them well in the future.
The search for a new management team will now begin. The club will keep you updated whilst this progresses.
