Pre-Season Schedule Announced

Friday 16/05/2014

Following an excellent first season back at the second tier of non-league football, we can now reveal that Rob Smith’s squad will warm up for the 2014/15 season with a competitive set of Pre-Season fixtures.

The matches will start with our now annual trip to AFC Wulfrunians on Tuesday 8th July, before a short journey to near neighbours Heath Hayes on the following Saturday (12th).
This will then be followed by an away game at Walsall Wood FC on Tuesday 15th July, with a 7.45pm kick off confirmed at their Oak Park ground.

Our first home Pre-Season match will see us hosting Conference Premier outfit Kidderminster Harriers at Keys Park on Saturday 19th July, followed by home matches against League Two’s Burton Albion FC, Conference Premier side Wrexham, Wolverhampton Wanderers U21’s and a West Bromwich Albion XI.
Admission prices for all the home matches will be released in due course.

The last Pre-Season game sees us travelling to Halesowen Town on Monday 4th August ahead of the start of the new Conference North campaign, commencing on Saturday 9th August 2014.

The Wrexham match will, of course, be a special occasion with former Pitman Elliott Durrell returning to Keys Park as an opposition player for the first time, whilst newly signed Reece Styche could also feature for Kidderminster Harriers. We are delighted to welcome some Premier League and Championship calibre opposition in the form of West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers, with both sides due to visit us for the first time in a number of seasons.
