Hednesford Town Football Club would like to go on record to thank Chris Brindley who has also departed Keys Park this evening.

From the day that he came back to Hednesford Town as Rob Smith’s assistant in the summer of 2012, when Larry Chambers took a year off, the way that he has helped progress the club forward should be commended.

Upon Larry’s return Chris played an important part in keeping the team together both on and off the field, helping in the process of searching for a new managerial team and also filled in as caretaker manager while the club searched for a successor for Rob and Larry in the summer.

Chris will forever be a fans’ favourite at Keys Park for his time as both a player and on the managerial front and we wish him well for the future.
