Exciting Winger Becomes Latest to Join The Pitmen

Monday 30/05/2016

Hednesford Town are pleased to confirm that young left-sided player Cohen Bramall has become the latest player to sign up at Keys Park.

Bramall is equally at home playing on the left wing or at left back and joins the Pitmen from Market Drayton Town.

The 20-year-old also lists Nantwich Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Newcastle Town among his previous sides and he admitted he was looking forward to working with manager Liam McDonald. He said:

“The manager was really passionate about the club when he was talking to me and telling me all about what he wants to achieve. He also showed a real desire in me – something that was important.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of stepping up a league again and seeing what lies ahead. I know that Hednesford have been in the league above for a couple of seasons and hopefully I can help them get back to that.

“When it comes to positioning I can play on the wing but can also fill in as a full-back when required.”

McDonald was pleased to be able to get Bramall signed up after interest from a number of other clubs who had been looking at the youngster. He said:

“Cohen is lightning quick, a Staffordshire lad and someone who I think could well be a real find for us.

“He is an athletic player, also standing six foot tall, and can slot in at a number of positions on both sides of the pitch.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing him running at defences next season as his pace is fantastic and he also has a lot of energy.

“It is a step up for him but I have really high hopes and I think he will excite a number of people this season with him hopefully having a long future in the game ahead of him.”

More news on future signings is due to be released in the coming days.
