Hednesford Town play their final pre-season fixture of what has already been a long summer for Neil Tooth’s squad, on Tuesday evening when they play host to a Birmingham City XI.

This fixture was agreed following the move of young fullback Remeao Hutton to ‘Blues’ at the tail end of last season after he had broken into the Pitmen’s first team at the start of 2017.

As such, Tuesday evening will give Hednesford fans a chance to welcome back their former player with him set to be involved in what will be one final test for Tooth’s team.

After suffering a narrow defeat against Merthyr Town on Saturday we go into this fixture looking to end pre-season on a high ahead of the start of the new campaign on Saturday when Ashton United visit Keys Park.
