Following our recent announcement that the management team of Rob Smith and Larry Chambers have committed themselves to the club for the forthcoming season, we wanted to bring you somewhat of an update.

As stated 12 months ago, midfielder Tom Thorley signed a two-year contract to remain at Keys Park and as such is the first player confirmed in the 2018/19 squad.

The Pitmen also exercised options included in the contracts of James Wren and Reece King in order to keep them at Keys Park for a further 12 months.

All other members of the squad were signed on non-contract deals and as such are free agents – with the management team now set to speak to them after their own future was confirmed.

As regards to Pre-Season fixtures, these will be announced as and when they are confirmed, at present we have provisional dates for an away game at AFC Wulfrunians and a home game against Mansfield Town FC.
