Hednesford Town Football Club are pleased to be able to welcome Francino Francis back to Keys Park as First Team Coach.

This news comes after Mark Swann decided to step down from the role during the summer break. Everyone at Keys Park would like to thank ‘Swanny’ for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.

Francis had two previous spells with the club as a player – most famously helping the Pitmen to promotion in 2013 thanks to his colossus performances at centre-half.

We can also confirm that from last season’s squad Ben Bailey and Joe Fitzpatrick have been invited to undertake pre-season with the club.

Both were present today as pre-season training got underway ahead of the start of the 2018/19 campaign next month.

The Pitmen will find out tomorrow the result of their appeal to the FA on our league allocation when a hearing takes place at Wembley.
