The draw for the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup has today been made – with Hednesford Town being handed a home tie against Staffordshire rivals Tamworth.

The game against the Lambs, who play in the Southern League Central Division, will take place at Keys Park on Saturday 8 September, kicking off at the usual Saturday time of 3pm. The winners of the tie will also receive £6,000 in prize money.

In other news the Pitmen were last week handed an away tie in the First Round of the Integro Sport League Cup. On Wednesday 19 September we shall travel to Kidsgrove Athletic, with the game kicking off at 7.45pm.
