Hednesford Town return to league action tomorrow afternoon as we look to put a disappointing midweek result behind us when we travel to Matlock Town.

Our last visit to Matlock came right at the start of 2018 when we were able to triumph in the League Cup – avenging the defeat that we suffered at the start of last season when on our travels. The Gladiators had suffered somewhat of a mixed start to the season, thus seeing them undergoing a change of management – however they are unbeaten in their last five matches now, having won three of those.

Manager Rob Smith is still set to be without Charlie Gatter, Josh Craddock and Matt Dodd through injury. Jed Davies and Sam Grimshaw are both hoping to be fit after suffering knocks that has seen them miss the last three games.
Goalkeeper Josef Bursik will once again be available for selection after returning from England U19 duty.

The game kicks off at the usual time of 3pm and we thank all those supporters who are planning on making the journey.
