Pitmen Supporters Urged To Show Support For Prostate Cancer UK On Non-League Day

Thursday 11/10/2018

Hednesford Town need you to come along to our game against South Shields at Keys Park and support both our club and Prostate Cancer UK on Saturday 13th October.

The leading men’s health charity are proud to be the official charity partner of Non-League Day for a fifth year. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate Non-League football as well as raise awareness and funds of a disease that kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men every football match.

As the Pitmen aim to support Non-League Day we’re looking for you to give us backing as we implement a special offer for Premier League and Football League season ticket holders.

We’re pleased to confirm that on Saturday any supporter who owns a season ticket for a Premier League or Football League side will be given entry to Keys Park at a concessionary price of just £8. Make sure to enter through the Concession Turnstile by showing your season ticket.

By supporting us on Non-League Day you can also help make a difference to help relegate the most common cancer in men in the UK.

We are joining forces with clubs across the non-league pyramid as we aim to change the game for men and their families on a day full of fundraising activity.

The ground-breaking move has been hailed by legendary Sky Sports presenter, Jeff Stelling.

Jeff said:

“This partnership reinforces Prostate Cancer UK’s work in football and how hugely important it is to raise awareness and funds to make a difference to the lives of men and their loved ones.’’

Support us on Non-League Day and together we can help relegate prostate cancer.

Text BADGE to 70004 to donate £5 to help stop prostate cancer being a killer (and get your own Prostate Cancer UK Man of Men pin badge to wear with pride).

Saturday’s game against South Shields kicks off at 3pm and we look forward to welcoming you to Keys Park.
