Hednesford Town manager Rob Smith has today been able to bolster his squad with the signing of National League striker Dan Sweeney on a one month loan deal from Solihull Moors.
Sweeney, 20, came through the ranks at Kidderminster Harriers – enjoying loan spells with Halesowen Town and Stourport Swifts while aged just 18.
After leaving Harriers in 2017 the striker, who can also play on the wing, linked up with the Moors in the summer of 2018 – scoring just four minutes into his league debut for the club.
Sweeney, who becomes the second player to arrive from Solihull this week after Callum Coyle, will be available for selection for tomorrow’s FA Cup game at Kettering Town.
