Galinski Departs Keys Park

Tuesday 13/11/2018

Hednesford Town Football Club can today confirm that central defender Stefan Galinski has left Keys Park after having his contract cancelled.

Galinski joined the Pitmen over the summer from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League rivals Grantham Town, becoming the club’s new captain.

Following this news manager Rob Smith said:

“We have reluctantly agreed to let Stef cancel his contract. A combination of a lot of travelling from his home in Lincoln coinciding with a requirement to reduce the budget means he is free to sign for a team nearer his home.

“Stef has been nothing but the consummate professional in his time here, it is a real shame we did not get to work with him longer, but we are where we are as a club. I sincerely wish him all the best in the future.”

Everyone at the football club would like to thank Stef for his efforts while with the Pitmen and we wish him all the best going forward.

The manager has been able to add two new faces to his squad in the last week with forward Jules Haabo having being involved in the last two fixtures while midfielder Jeandy Mavinga has also agreed a deal at Keys Park.
