Match Preview: Stalybridge Celtic (H)

Friday 12/04/2019

Hednesford Town prepare to play their final home game of the season tomorrow afternoon when Stalybridge Celtic visit Keys Park.
After seeing our six game unbeaten run come to an end last week we shall be looking to build on our excellent home form of late having triumphed in the last four fixtures on our own turf.
Our visitors tomorrow recorded a 1-0 victory in our previous encounter right at the start of the year but currently sit three places and four points behind us in the league table.
Manager Nicky Eaden said:
“With it being our last home fixture of the season I’ve said to the lads that they need to bounce back from last week.
“It is a strange time of the season for us as were now in mid table after a really good run of form that has seen us pull clear of the relegation zone. It is a time when you think you are safe and levels can sometimes drop off. We want to finish our season off at home with a positive result though – something I will be drumming into the lads before the game.”
The Pitmen go into the game sweating on the fitness of centre-backs Charlie Gatter and Jon Moran – with both having suffered injuries in recent weeks.

The game kicks off at the usual Saturday afternoon time of 3pm and we hope that you can join us.

Admission Prices
£11 Adults
£8 Concessions
£12 Family Ticket (One Adult and one Child)

Following the game the End of Season Awards will he held in the Chase Suite.
Please do come along at 5.30pm to see who will be rewarded.
