Hednesford Town v Leiston (H)

Thursday 27/02/2020

Following on from Tuesday night’s enthralling 3–3 draw with Peterborough Sports, Leiston are Saturday’s visitors to the PRG Stadium at Keys Park. The Blues had a troubled start to the season without recording a win until mid-October and remained rooted to the bottom of the table during that period. Glen Driver has returned as manager and a much improved run of results has seen Leiston become much harder to beat and move out of the relegation zone. The Pitmen enjoyed a 3-0 win at Victory Road in November with goals from Kris Scott and two from Andre Brown, both sides have made significant changes to their squads since.

Ahead of the game caretaker player manager Danny Glover said; “There has been a positive turnaround at the club, the new lads have come in and made a massive difference in the last two games and we have been really impressed with the performances of Rhys, Dan and Cal. The Leiston match will be a difficult game against a much improved side, but they too will be facing a new improved team and we will be very much up for the challenge.”

There are no new injury concerns or suspensions affecting the availability of players at the weekend.

Kick off is at 3pm.
